As part of this year’s Generosity Campaign, the 24/7 Team will host a “Potluck Supper” at 5 PM on Saturday, October 23rd at Cornerstone. Here’s your opportunity to share one of your family’s favorite recipes while enjoying good food and fellowship.
In order that we serve “a little bit of everything” the 24/7 Team asks that attendees bring the following types of food based upon last names:
A thru D - Salads
E thru J - Vegetables
K thru Q - Desserts
R thru Z - Meat & Casseroles
We ask that dishes be provided in disposable containers. Members of the 24/7 Team will serve the diners “Cafeteria Style.”
In addition, diners will be entertained by our own Alan Freeman in his debut performance at Cornerstone. Alan has been involved in Christian music since the age of 11, singing in part-time gospel groups that have ministered throughout the Midwest. Recently, he helped form a new gospel trio, Vintage Sound. In 2015, Alan was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Mid America Gospel Music Association. As a soloist at our potluck dinner, Alan will sing from a repertoire of standards and original gospel songs.
For those who are unable to attend, Cornerstone will stream Alan’s performance on Facebook Live beginning at 5:30 pm.
So that they know the approximate number of diners to prepare for, the 24/7 Team asks that those planning to attend, please RSVP by clicking here: https://reopen.church/r/mw38ucHW.
Please plan to join the 24/7 Team on the 23rd for food, fellowship, and some great music.
