Chrismon Tree Program
Sunday, December 7 at 11A
Location: Lobby Christmas Tree
All are invited to a special learning and fellowship opportunity as we explore the meaning behind the beautiful Chrismon Tree, a cherished Christian tradition that uses white and gold symbols to represent the life, ministry, and promises of Christ.
Program presenter, Sherry Stukenbroeker, will guide attendees through the rich history of the Chrismon Tree—its origins, how the tradition began, and why churches around the world continue to use these ornaments during Advent and Christmas. She will also explain the significance of many individual symbols, such as the Alpha and Omega, the Crown, the Fish, and more.
A booklet of Chrismon symbols will be provided to help you follow along and take the information home.
This program is an excellent way to deepen your understanding of Advent traditions and to prepare your heart for the coming Christmas season.
Kids JAM students will join us as part of their Sunday programming, and all adults and families are warmly encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for all ages to learn together and appreciate the spiritual symbolism behind the decorations that adorn our Lobby tree.
Come enjoy a time of learning, community, and reflection as we begin this meaningful season!
