Loss Changes Everything
Navigating life after loss is challenging, whether your loved one died recently or many years ago. Finding a group of people where you can experience comfort, caring, and hope on the journey through grief is important.
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, a new 11-week Grief Support Group will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in O’Fallon.
No matter where you are on your grief journey, this group offers understanding hearts, listening ears, and a community of care ready to walk alongside you.
Who Can Participate?
This safe and compassionate group is open to all adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. You don’t need to belong to a church—or to any faith at all—to participate. Come every week or join in as you’re schedule allows.
Group Format & Resources
Our weekly group conversations will draw from the “10 Essential Touchstones” by grief expert Dr. Alan Wolfelt. The group is co-facilitated by Rev. Linda Potter and Kim Zohner.
While there is no cost or fee to participate in the group, you are encouraged to purchase a companion book and journal to enhance your healing experience.
Pre-register for the Group
Please pre-register for this grief support group so we can have enough chairs ready.
